34th Day Learning English – 34th day Challenge

Today is our 34th day of learning English. Today we will learn what we call all the relatives and family members in our house, such as brothers, sisters, etc., and what we call them in English. Everyone talks to their relatives and family members every day, but some people don't know what they are called in English. Today we will learn the English names for our relatives. Only then will we be able to address any relative by their English name.

आज हमारा अंग्रेजी सीखने का 34 वां दिन है। आज हम सीखेंगे कि हमारे घर में सगे संबंधी, रिश्तेदार, भाई, बहन आदि सब होते हैं, उन्हें हम क्या कह कर पुकारते है और उनका हम अंग्रेजी में क्या कहते हैं? सभी लोग अपने रिश्तेदारों से संबंधियों से बातचीत करते हैं, रोजाना देखते हैं पर किसी किसी को यहाँ नहीं पता है की उनको अंग्रेजी में क्या बोलते हैं।आज हम सीखेंगे कि अब हमने रिश्तेदारों को अंग्रेजी में क्या कह कर पुकारते हैं। तभी हम किसी भी रिश्तेदार को अंग्रेजी नाम कहकर पुकार सकते हैं।

We are explaining all these things to you because if you are going to have a conversation with someone or introduce yourself, you need to know how to use common words and sentences. We see, hear, and speak these things every day; they are all part of our environment. That's why it's essential that we know how to translate all of this into English.

हम आपको ये सभी बातें इसलिए समझा रहे हैं क्योंकि यदि आप किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति से वार्तालाप करेंगे या अपना इंट्रोडक्शन देंगे, तो आपको सामान्य प्रकार की बातें शब्द, वाक्य प्रयोग करना आना चाहिए क्योंकि यह सब हम लोग रोजाना देखते हैं, सुनते हैं, बोलते हैं, हमारे वातावरण में ही यह सब चीजें होती है इसीलिए इन सब का अंग्रेजी अनुवाद करना हमें आना चाहिए जो कि आवश्यक है।

Conversation: Family Talking About Giving Wedding Cards

1. Mother: The wedding cards are ready, now we must give them to all relatives.
माँ: शादी के कार्ड तैयार हैं, अब हमें सभी रिश्तेदारों को देने हैं।

2. Father: Yes, first we will give cards to grandparents.
पिता: हाँ, सबसे पहले हम दादा-दादी और नाना-नानी को कार्ड देंगे।

3. Sister: We should also invite uncle and aunt from the village.
बहन: हमें गाँव के चाचा और चाची को भी बुलाना चाहिए।

4. Brother: Don’t forget mama and mami from my mother’s side.
भाई: माँ की तरफ से मामा और मामी को मत भूलना।

5. Mother: Yes, we will also give cards to bua and fufa.
माँ: हाँ, हम बुआ और फूफा को भी कार्ड देंगे।

6. Father: What about cousins? They must be invited too.
पिता: कजिन भाई-बहनों का क्या? उन्हें भी बुलाना है।

7. Sister: I will personally give cards to my cousins and friends.
बहन: मैं खुद अपने कजिन और दोस्तों को कार्ड दूँगी।

8. Brother: I will visit my brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
भाई: मैं जीजा और भाभी को कार्ड देने जाऊँगा।

9. Mother: We must invite father-in-law and mother-in-law properly.
माँ: हमें ससुर और सास को आदर से कार्ड देना चाहिए।

10. Father: Yes, relatives from both sides are important.
पिता: हाँ, दोनों तरफ के रिश्तेदार ज़रूरी होते हैं।

11. Sister: Should we give cards to neighbors also?
बहन: क्या हमें पड़ोसियों को भी कार्ड देना चाहिए?

12. Mother: Of course, neighbors are like family.
माँ: बिल्कुल, पड़ोसी परिवार जैसे ही होते हैं।
